On Monday 7th May 2018, Zebpay declared their support for the migration of the two cryptocurrencies EOS [EOS] and Tron [TRX]. At the moment EOS and Tron are operating from an ERC20 smart contract.
ERC20 is the technical term which is used for smart contracts on the respective Ethereum blockchain which is used for implementing tokens. ERC stands for Ethereum Request for Comment and 20 is the number which was assigned to this particular request.
The ERC20 has a common set of rules to be followed for mining Ethereum tokens which would allow the developers to accurately predict interactions between tokens.
EOS and TRON are going to migrate from Ethereum to their respective blockchains in the coming weeks. In April 2017, Tron had declared that they would elect super representatives in the coming June after the coin’s migration from the Ether blockchain is completed.
Tron is going to launch TVM or Tron virtual machine before the release of their Main Net. Tron Virtual Machine Will be launched on 25th May 2018. The Main Net will be launched on 31st May 2018 and on 21st June 2018, the migration of Tron from ERC20 will be conducted.
Zebpay has tweeted on the topic saying:
“There can be scammers on this thread offering various things like giveaway. Zebpay is not giving away any cryptocurrencies. Please be aware and cautions of such scams in the name of Zebpay. Everyone should report all the fake accounts and users should not click on any suspicious links.”
Wesley Willams, a TRON supporter comments:
“Tron has got an amazing potential to dominate the entire cryptocurrency market but it’s not using its potential as much as it can.”
